With nearly three decades of experience as a litigation lawyer in Ontario, I have built a distinguished career representing clients in high-stakes disputes across civil litigation, criminal defence, family law, and immigration law. Called to the Ontario Bar in 1996, I hold legal qualifications from the University of Delhi, Brock University, and the University of Toronto Faculty of Law, equipping me with a broad perspective and rigorous analytical skills.

In civil litigation, I handle intricate disputes involving contract breaches, property claims, tort liability, and administrative law challenges. I have successfully represented individuals, businesses, and organizations before the Superior Court of Justice and Federal Court of Canada, including cases against both public bodies and private entities. My approach balances aggressive courtroom advocacy with strategic negotiation, ensuring clients achieve the best possible resolution—whether through trial victories or favorable settlements.

My criminal defence practice covers a wide range of charges, be it domestic assaults, sexual assaults, theft, fraud, impaired driving and also regulatory offences. I prioritize minimizing the impact on clients’ lives by pursuing diversion programs, peace bonds, and negotiated resolutions, while also vigorously defending serious charges at trial when necessary. I have secured acquittals, withdrawn charges, and reduced sentences in cases before the Ontario Court of Justice and Superior Court of Justice for my clients.

In family law, I provide compassionate yet assertive representation in divorce matters, child custody, support disputes, and property division issues. High-conflict cases, particularly those involving domestic violence or complex financial arrangements, require a careful balance of mediation, negotiation, and litigation—all areas where I have extensive experience. My goal is to protect clients’ rights while seeking fair, long-term solutions.

My immigration law practice focuses on challenging cases, including stays of removal, judicial reviews, and humanitarian & compassionate applications. I have successfully overturned adverse decisions in spousal sponsorship appeals and helped families reunite under difficult circumstances.
